Example Templates

RightField is in use in the SysMO consortium. RightField-enabled templates help users create consistent data annotations across experiments and therefore help with data comparisons across the consortium.

Templates in use in SysMO have been created by the SysMO-DB Team, the SysMO PALs, and other members of the consortium. Some are bespoke, but others are based on existing tempaltes from the biological community.
For example, the microarray data templates were originally taken from the GEO website (Gene Expression Omnibus http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/), or auto-generated using the template construction tool from ArrayExpress (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/cgi-bin/microarray/magetab.cgi).

Other templates are more generally applicable to metabolomics studies, or to helping link data and mathematical models.

The examples here are designed to show the capabilities of RightField. In the near future, many of the commonly used SysMO templates will be published and available for download.
